  • Big Dee Irwin was born and raised in Harlem. Depending on what you read he was either 56 or 63 when he died in 1995.

  • LOVE THE SOUND GREAT LYRICS.

  • Ah...back when they made REAL music!

  • Another great Pastels hit, my older brother bought it new.

  • There is something Very Encompassing about songs because it's touches you in a way that's hard to describe ! Love It ! ^5 ^5

  • I understand that Defosco "Big Dee" Irwin, the superb soloist on this timeless gem, was a native New Yorker. Anyone know what part of New York he came from and where he learned to sing like this? Always loved his signature hit, "Been So Long" but preferred "So Far Away" for reasons even I have never understood. R.I.P., big guy.

  • THNX JOESOLDIES FOR POST AND CYNTHIA 6637 FOR SHARE!!!
