Looks like they can benefit from my robot punching arms to get faster reaction times without the pain in getting faster. If they want more real life force, my robot arms will give that too. Agree, in a fight you better be determined to win no matter how bad the pain. Also, it's smarter to not play their game. Have some quick "surprises" of your own. Think ahead.
@Sniped505 I have been to that very cold land of death, and let me tell you, what seems extreme on this limited scope of a video is actually a demonstration of challenges that target willpower, which is needed to build abundant survival energy. It just sounds like you need some escort to help you attend this school... something i would be very willing to do myself, if it were possible.
This is crazy, I f this is the Real martial arts - I don't want to learn it. Martial arts should be more about handling life than just brutally taking punches. Did you see the people with the blood at the training session - WTF, that doesn't teach you anything.
Looks mostly like a disorganized mess in which the alleged "master's" ego is satisfied by kicking and beating on largely defenseless idiots who think (mistakenly) they are learning to fight by getting their asses kicked over and over again.
@Sniped505 I disagree. Budo is about survival, and me being a crybaby about pain is going to reduce my fighting capabilities significantly. Also, if I was attacked by a stalker or someone that I had put some little form of trust into and they decided to catch me off-guard and betray me, this could be a very deadly opponent indeed thereby giving me very little time to react, let alone train to survive.
...detroying an enemy, surviving, or win your ego? Finally the dead is waiting all of us. "Understand the true meaning of life and death, that's Budo" (Sosai Mas Oyama). What do you think about?
Please..have a look at the background at 1:30. If my Sensei looked at some practicioner lying on the ground in that way surely there would be pain for him. I was a kyokushinkai karateka and i know this was the old way to practise in Japan, under Sosai Mas Oyama era. Yes the way of suffering was the same but...wer is the authentic spirit of Budo? Here, what's the goal?
