The full chase, from Auckland Nz to Mission Beach, Queensland Australia, Myself and Bradley Ambrose were right there, weathering the eyewall of Yasi, the strongest cyclone ever to hit Australia, while all the other media were sipping lattes in Cairns and Townsville and Cairns and stealing our footage we, and the others with us that night and in nearby areas were experiencing our own version of Apocypylpse Now, thats what it looked like in the morning, like Vietnam. Many thanks to Malcolm and his family in Mission Beach and the staff and owner of the Elandra Resort, Its great you all, and Snuggles the cat, survived the night intact. I Hope you found the other Cassowarys alive ?

Reminds me of our home grown Texas storms. The only come out at night as well. Great footage again. And again thanks for the Rita footage. Yours is about the only live footage of that one out there. And LOL I said those exact words when I saw the 90 feet of oak tree in my huse after Rita. :)

Great video! You need natures action, right? I saw your footage from cyclone Vance too. What do you think which landfalling cyclone in Australia was stronger?
