As the highlight of the day was the 60m, it would have been good to see it from a decent position. Lets see more action and less presentations.

Allister, I couldn't agree more. The position I was in for the 60m was very poor. However, two things to remember - we only have one camera to film events and that severely restricts our ability to get different shots of the same race, especially one such as the 60m in the Kelvin Hall, which begins and ends in different places.
Second, because of this, our approach is to try to show as many faces as possible and that's why you see quite a lot of presentations.
Yours is a good point, well made.
