A Farewell to the Atlanta Thrashers

A video I put together to commemorate the Atlanta Thrashers team that will be leaving for Winnipeg. I will always support these players, even if I can't bring myself to watch a Winnipeg game.

@HeedleGlavin Im pretty sure evry1 knew that by me saying 3000 people was a joke. And BTW 13K for a hockey team is bad. VERY BAD. Junior teams in Canada average more fans per game then that. As for the worst team on the ice...Toronto , Oilers, Sens, Flames all missed the playoffs and still had excellent attendance. That is why they are leaving your shitty town of Atlanta and going to Winnipeg.Good or bad they sell seats. When you learn about the real reason they moved then talk to me.

@TheDigiDestined16 I'm not gonna argue with an uneducated Canadian. I just live in Georgia and supported the team. If the truth be known, I am a Capitals fan. I just thought it'd be nice to honor a team in which people followed and had a passion for, but of course there will be assholes like you to ruin that.

@KSUmiller Minor league arena?? The NHL board of govs thought it was big enough. Having a rink that seats 15000 with 15000 people in it is a hell of a lot better then having a rink that seats 18000 and only has 3000 people in it. Come on man Major Junior teams in the QMJHL,WHL and OHL average better crowds then that...Pathetic

But you're right, its great for the fans in Winnipeg to have a team again and I am sure it will be filled for the first couple seasons. I just hope that when the team faces hardship, the crowd doesn't leave again like it did when they first had a team.

I love the Jets with lots of my heart but to see a franchise like the thrashers go is quite sad 1999-2011 Atlanta Georgia enjoyed hockey :'(
