Great vid, very helpful. i have only one question... You say chiefcells produce mucus, but don't they produce proteins, like gastrine in the antrum of the stomach?
-
Very well organised, very helpful for me. I work in histiology.

The only thing I miss from your classes is the proventriculus, since I'm a vet student. But, you can't have everything, hehe.

The other areas are pretty much similar except for the presence or lacking of chief cells and parietal cells. He shows us what these cells, the rest should be easy:
Cardiac: 4 cell types (except for chief cells)
Fundic: all 5 cell types (both parietal and chief cells)
Pyloric: only 3 cells (no chief or parietal cells)
You know what? I started to enjoy Histology since I found your valuable video lessons. Thank you so so so much.
