Also known as John Rex Reeves, this nephew of Jim Reeves hit the country charts in 1981 with "What Would You Do" and "You're The Reason". In 1974, he had this good song out, and if you haven't heard it before it's worth a listen! I think the songwriter (B. Yarbrough) is Bob Yarbrough, who himself hit the charts a few times in the 1970's (and I don't have anything of his!).
So sincere just like Jim reeves bless

You can hear deep shades of John Rex's famous uncle's voice in his own. It must have been frustrating at times to make a living under that huge shadow when people not unnaturally would make comparisons.

Nice tune, classy voice. I haven't heard it before, he sounds a little like Jim....... Jim Reeves is one of my all time favourite singers, he had so many great songs.

This is my first tiome hearing this song and I didn't know Jim Reeves had a nephew who's quite a good singer himself doing it in his uncle style. This would've been a good song for Jim had he lived.
