Would I be going out on a limb to say that this cat is one of the greatest singers of the 20th Century? Can I put him up there with Sinatra, King Cole, Crosby etc.?

@rievans57 I'd rather listen to Johnny Mathis than any singer in the world past or present, He has sold more albums than any of these singers you mentioned too. All are great but, for me, Johnny Mathis is the best. I never tire of hearing him.

While serving in Vietnam I can remember them playing this song on the radio(Armed Froces Radio) during the month of December ...laying in my bunk in my hootch..welling up..It's terrible being in a war and so far away...G-d bless our troops and keep them safe...

Happy Christmas from Ireland to every one. It is Christmas eve and I can smell the turkey beginning to cook. I don't know who said this first but it is so true. 'THE AROMA OF A WELL COOKED DINNER IS THE INCENSE OF DOMESTIC BLISS.' We will relax tonight in preparation for the cascade of family who will descend upon us tomorrow. What a wonderful time of year.
