Funny.. you say comment that to a danish song.. and you tell us to learn english. Denmark is teh no. 1 country being best at english (as second language) even a 9 year old can say a few words in english.

So why dont you just gtfo with all your hating and stop jugding and let denmark have songs on our own language. plenty of english song out there you can here.. even an english version of Hallelujah - Gtfo bitch.

  • @KittyPrincessMeow My name is Shad Ebinger. I live in the U.S.A. For that I am terribly sorry. Please don't hold it against me. I was born here and now am enslaved and oppressed here. I don't understand a word that this beautiful artist is singing except for the word, "Halleluja." This is the only version since finding her that I will listen to. Lol. I find none of the others even close to a beautiful sounding. And thats all I got to say about that

  • It's amazing how musicality and passion transcend any language barrier. I don't understand a word of Danish but still felt the angst of the song - (more so with Ms. Dickow rather than Mr. Brandt though - sorry ) - because of her wonderfully expressive voice. Hallelujah! :-)

  • im sorry to say guys, but you really need to stop the fighting. i've grown up in denmark and lived a lot of places all over the world in my teenage years.

we are all people no matter which religion or country we've come from, no matter the tone in our skin.

to this song i cant compare it to any of the other versions anywere its unique in just a remarkeble way as Leonard Cohen or whats that dude called that performed it to shrek ;b

key point is, beautiful song, in its own way.

  • @rubytuesday79 My name is Stephen Anderson and I too live in the U.S.A, and for that I am eternally grateful. I can think of no other country that has done as much good in this world than us, who has freed as many people than us, or who has fed as many people than us. For what exactly are ashamed? That we freed all of Europe twice? That we are the most generous nation on the planet? That we are the land of liberty? If you feel so oppressed then leave! No one will stop you! Go now!

  • Now I really understood the words of the song (I grew up in Denmark). It's a beautyfull song, but it's not a very nice song, at all. It's a strange song !?

  • @postmads1974 Bob Dylan you must be joking? Everyone in the world has heard of Dylan. I bet no one outside of your region has heard of this fellow. I don't need to speak your language what would that get me? A job in Denmark?

  • @rubytuesday79 Wow you don't find the Jeff Buckley version worth listening to? Shad you are an idiot.

  • @nat00ben06 Well the gentleman in this video (Steffen Brandt) is like Bob Dylan, he doesn't sing beutifully and he knows it, but man he can write beutifull songs. Of course you can never understand that if you can't speak our language. That's just your loss.

  • god song

  • right on!!
