ah, man, this should be recorded! We USA'ers are so unlucky not to have this man touring! I can't believe he went to Japan and not here! Oh well, at least I have YouTube and cd's and dvd's.

This song ROCKS and so does Chris!

He often reuses bits of songs, I think the intros for espresso logic and nothing to fear show up again on the first 2 or 3 tracks of the Celtic and Irish Blues disc of Blue Guitars
the album "chris rea" has loads of stuff that gets reused later in his career; a version of guitar street appears on the King of the Beach album, the piano outro on I Will Do It For Your Love is very similar to the one in Josephine and the lyrics from When You Know That Your Love Has Died are used in Que Sera

This song doesnt appear on any of his albums, which is a shame cos its awesome :-)
The riff is from "Joys of Christmas" on the Dancing with Strangers album, and also from "Funk48" from the Blue Street album i think. The solo about 1:30 in is identical to the one in "Joys of Christmas."

Such a great sond.
Why the hell does no live album of those times appear? The farewell tour album was rubbish - I wanna hear songs from the older times of his career. Such a shame.

Correct - show was filmed from the Old Fruitmarket in Glasgow - early 90's. I've never seen this on any album but it was done around the same time as the song "You can go your own way" that was used in TV ad for the Ford Probe car and sounds a lot like a cross between Joe Walsh's "Life's been good" and Bon Jovi's "Bad Medicine" - good song all the same.
well done , boy i try for a little while to make a list of repeted riffs you can find in certains songs for exemple jazze blues cd6 - blue guitars and stainsby girl road to hell and back.......
i go on and when thre'll be a lot of riffs i send them to you you can do the same i'll be happy if i receive some!
