Sean Avery - The Clown of Mid-Town Manhattan

This is why the NHL does not allow us to bring video recorders to a hockey game. The clown in this video is the New York Rangers Sean Avery. This buffoon is the player that his NHL peers voted number one MOST HATED and MOST OVERRATED. This video was taken at game two of the 2007 NHL Conference Semi-final between the Buffalo Sabres and the NY Rangers. I shot it at the end of the second period as the Rangers were coming off the ice. Watch closely at the 10 second mark (00.10) of the video. What Avery does is typical of this clown. Apparently my daughter got under his skin at the beginning of the second period when she yelled out to him that he sucks. When he came off the ice to head to the Rangers locker room he looked up at her and made the gesture. You can see it in the video. For those not familiar he's number 16. Little did he know I had the camera on when he did this. We laughed it off because in the end, the Sabres won the game.
