Quite annoying demo of my Arduino-based quantiser program running on my (still-unfinished) cardboard sequencer box.
The noise output from an MFB Dual LFO is the source for the CV which is quantised by the Arduino to a scale (chromatic, major, minor, or maj/min. pentatonic). CV is output from an MCP4922 DAC.
The CV output from the DAC is run through a Doepfer dual slew into an Analogue Systems RS-95 oscillator, with the pulse output running through a homemade Papareil Polivoks filter, then into a Doepfer VCA. And there's a shitload of noisy spring reverb as usual.
When I flip the switch down the quantiser stops taking input from the ADC and starts looping over the contents of a small buffer, which stores the last eight notes quantised.
