the guitar riffs are similar, yes, but the progression is augmented in a way that gives it a completely different feeling... if you want to know what plagiarism sounds like, listen to "eighties" by killing joke and then "come as you are" by nirvana

I prefer to see it as a slight variation, and it is obvious to me that killing joke were the first. Sheesh... it's so evident that they where the first, they didn't mention their names in curly brackets after the song title because the lyrics are completely different and they felt they gave a different feeling through it. Besides here the riff is augmented, there the riff is slowed down, if come as you are is plagiarism to you, then this song HAS to be also the same for you, smart guy.
