the only reason they fail is cause dum ass people and kids dont take care of them. im 15 and had my xbox since 3 days after it came out and it works fine, thats like 2 years and i take care of it. so stop bitching about it braking if your gunna leave it on for a week or put it on the edge of a table obviously its gunna fall. so please people just shut the fuck up if you blame microsoft for your stupidity

right these figures are indeed correct. but they are NOT the full results the overall RRod failure rate is indeed now 34% and rising (this happens with all consoles as they get older the failure rates rise)

Wow, that comment was fanboyized. The figures are not rising, dumbass. Microsoft fixed the problem. If it's moving at all, it's falling. The RROD doesn't even exist any more. New consoles have been fixed and any left over that break are sent for repairs and fixed. Now, you can believe that the problem persists, but that just makes you an sony fanboy stuck in the past.
