Bassoon, Steve, to Ray Pizzi, Vaubourgoin

This is to Ray Pizzi,bassoon guru, it was much harder than I thought it would be.No teeth, it goes up to a high Bb, sorry about the pich and cracked notes I'll have to keep practicing, it kills the lips. This is a Marc Vaubourgoin cannon written for Maurice Allard. I ran out of time, I am having my bassoon repadded.

Damn ! You did it ! Congratulations. I think a specific piece needs to be written for this technique with strong consideration for the accompanying instrument volume. (Something like harp or acoustic guitar). The high notes have a beautiful texture. Nothing beats the sound of bleeding flesh.
