@dusthillguy, I once got bitten by some cat in my neighborhoud, my hand was infected by it. It fucking hurted.

My cat nips when he gets irritated with me petting him. Usually he builds up to the bite by glaring at my hand and letting out a short "No!" meow. He doesn't actually bite and hold, but he does just enough to leave a mark.

I don't think this cat was playing. Even if she was, it still looked like it hurt. Cats have those needle like teeth...that just so happen to be filled with bacteria.

It might have hurt a little bit, but I doubt that it broke the skin. My cat has bitten me similarly, and it rarely hurts.

The ears perking up before the bite is the best part of this to me.
Seriously speaking though it's possible in the original video the cat was merely playing. What makes me say that is he/she is making no attempt to run away and he/she is making no attempt to claw or even swat the hand.
Still this has spawned many awesome animations, the best use being the "new topic" version in which this cat bites a finger poking towards a "new topic" button.

Yeah, I agree. I wouldn't say the cat is playing though, or even angry. Perhaps irritated would be more appropriate.
My own cat bites my hand if I try to touch his paws. He's not frightened or very angry when he does it, but certainly annoyed that I'm harassing his paws.
I like the ear movements too. And if you look closely at the cat's eyes, you can see the pupils dilate as it notices the hand drawing near.
