I got some amalgam fillings refilled with more amalgam and they put the removed fillings into triple-sealed Bio HazMat containers.

I asked why they treated my removed fillings like some toxic poison if the amalgam that Kaiser Permanente Dental uses is so "safe?"

They said once mercury is removed from my mouth it becomes an "inert" but lethal substance and State regulations requires containment of removed fillings triple-sealed Bio-Hazard containers to prevent it from leeching to the environment.

No, the burden of proof is on the dentists to prove it is safe not on others to prove it is unsafe. Don't believe me? Eat some cyanide, it's safe honest.

Ok, so the idea is that the white 'composite' material made by some big corporation is safer than metal that comes from the earth because an alloy metal may possibly leak an insignificant amount of mercury. Does chromium come out of chrome? Probably more so when it gets drilled on. How bout following the money trail for real.

@TinyTimmySpeaks Why do you think the EPA considers it a "toxic" substance when it's removed from a persons mouth? It has to be hermitically sealed before it's disposed of!!! Follow the money trail & the "good ole' boys" club.

@elcat9091 everyone is different in the way the metabolize a toxic substance. Over 100,000 people died from the use of Vioxx before it was pulled from the market. (That's only one example) People still live in homes that contain lead paint, & asbestos shingles) It's only after the fact, that these substances are brought to light. When toxicity overload to a family member hits close to home do people ever awaken enough to "question" this profession, or ADA, AMA, CDC, EPA. How about fluoride?

@revanslc The dentist has to be trained in amalgam removal. My daughter had this done & the dentist & hygienist wear HAZMAT suits. I'm not BSing either. When you find the appropriate dentist you'll see. I'm sure the EPA and ADA are in for a TON of lawsuits. How is it that mercury being the most TOXIC substance known to man is considered stable & safe to put into a humans mouth? It's NOT. Plain & simple, in the same way they discovered that asbestos was toxic only after the fact they used it.

@SBrandon562 I would agree with @bjeide. Chelation can be extremely effective for heavy metal detox. I would seek help from a holistic doc like a naturopath or similar.  I have had a lot of extremely helpful advise from holistic docs!!
