Mo-jo -- Jump, Stomp, and Twist

This is my first video creation, so I appreciate your patience. ^_^

This is a classic old school electro-funk jam from 1984. I loved this song back in the day when I was a teenager. Electro-funk and old school hip-hop remains my favorite kind of music to this day. Because this song wasn't huge on the hip-hop scene (outside of the South from what I gather), it took me years as an adult to track down a 12-inch record (the song has yet to be released on any other media format). Fortunately, I had a saved search on eBay and one day out of the blue, I get an e-mail telling me the record is for sale. I had a few people bid against me, but in the end, I scored it. My mom was gracious enough to make a WAV file of the song and the side-B instrumental cut (which if this is popular enough, I could make that into a video slide-show as well).

As to the slide-show here, since there was never an official video for this song (that I'm aware of), I thought I'd throw in some screen shots from the first 12 episodes of the (at times) outrageously funny anime known as "Hayate no Gotoku" (aka: "Hayate the Combat Butler"). The anime is one of my favorites (and I sure hope FUNimation can license it since it is unlicensed as of this posting) of all time and certainly my favorite anime of 2007 titles from Japan. Maybe one day, "Jump, Stomp, and Twist" will be released officially for download or on CD (extremely doubtful as I see it), but until then, enjoy the tune. ^_^

@xxBlackpspxx At the time I posted this video, the anime was unlicensed, meaning no company outside of Japan could legally sell or distribute this. That has obviously change as Viz licensed the anime and manga.
