My theory on this song is that it's based on the album art from the EP it's on. Glenn is the man on the left, standing over the dead body, which he is responsible for. The song shows a creepy sort of calmness with outbursts of rage thrown in. Rhoda is on the right, having just walked in. She sees the body and loses her mind in panic. Basically I like to think the EP is a sort of musical still-life portrait of their minds at that moment.

This song is creepy, chilling, and evil. Slint at their best.

This is hands down my favorite Slint tune. I learned how to play it on bass in my senior year of high school and I haven't forgotten it. The syncopation in the drums is so awesome, and the overall quality of tone they achieved is beautiful. I'm glad my friend Andy showed this band to me in high school and I have been able to hold on to all three of their CDs all this time through numerous moves and life's complications. What an awesome band, hope they put out another album soon for all of us.

So so so so Stoked... this was on a 411vm ( skateboarding video ) around 10 years ago and the skaters were killing a skatepark to this song... Went so well together Ive been on a mission to find it ever since!

With no track listing or friends that knew who made the song it has actually taken 10 years to find it. Damn.... Thanks so much for uploading

probabaly the best song i have ever heard, they should have put this as like a hidden track on spiderland, that would have been exciting times, i also hope they make some more tunes like the rumors that have been going around :O
