This film, a winner of the International Critics Award of the Berlin Film Festival and a Blue Ribbon at the American Film Festival, is a dazzling testament to the liberty of the imagination. With his very first film, Kidlat Tahimik (Eric de Guia in real life) has introduced a classic. the last time i saw this is way back at 96 or 97'.. i was 10 at that time and ever since i saw this film i can't forget the way it was made and it's story delivered. after 14 years searching of where can i get this film i finally got a copy of my own. this movie shapes the way i envision things. i thank you sir kidlat tahimik for touching my soul. This single film made me decide to be a filmaker.

I haven't seen this in ages! I saw it I think in 1985 with my friend who was taking a course at SF State. We both laughed at this -- we were both very young, 19 and 20 I think. But, thinking back about this movie, it is a very good movie that conveys a great message, to me at least. It took a while for me to grasp it -- but I think I did.

Please paki post naman buong pelikula. Noon ko pa gusto mapanood. Was this released locally? It won at the Berlin Film Festival pero parang walang citations from the local award giving bodies.
