  • @staaberelli A steel cut oat is much closer to an actual oat. It's just chopped up a little by steel blades. Where a rolled oat (Quaker Oat) is smashed or rolled so it takes much less time to cook. Steel cut oats are usually considered better for you, having more fiber and nutrients.

  • I am considering a rice cooker for automating Quaker Oats...What is a Steel Cut Oat vs a Quaker Oat? I am not a chef so help me out please.
