I give an update about the Mighty Pump.
I talk about how to tell if your split system is mismatched.
I talk about an electronic leak detector that costs under $150.

Attention: Do not try any of what you see in this video at home. It takes at least two years of HVACR schooling to become qualified to learn in the field how to work on heating and air conditioning equipment. Then it takes another three years of apprenticeship training to become competent enough to safely work on heating and air conditioning equipment.

  • @explodingninja1 Hello Mary. I guess that I'll be seeing you soon.

  • I use that freon detector. (office supplied it) I've tried a few others but I like the 2 settings and no dial to tweak or fiddle with. Have only had to replace the tip one time I think and not sure how long it was in service before I got it, hehe. M@

  • @mikie2501 I'd say that it gives you the mostest fot the leastest.

  • I work for a retirement village. One time I was able to get away with mismatching the A-coil and condensor by adjusting the size of the oriface. I can see your points though on systems with a TXV, or capillary. Anyway, thought I would trow that out there...lol. I love your videos by the way ;)

  • @AMTECHMECH I work for the school board so I don't have any customers. I'm just a tech that makes youtube videos on the side.

  • Hey Doc.....Business question ......How do you get your customers?. i am paying tons

of money for Yellow Page adds without much to show for it.....there is got to be a better

    way, but i am bumfuzzled!......thanks

  • @DrZarkloff edcontact proves my previous comment somewhat offensive and unnecessary so I apologize for it.

  • @DrZarkloff Edcontact which proves my previous comment offensive and unecessary. I do sometimes speak without thought, but I don't make a habit of it.
