Thanks for giving me a Hint as to what my problem was with this line spacing crap on MW'07! I would want to double space 1 single paragraph but then my name/title/date,etc on top would do Double space too! ive been trying to figure out how to Stop it But since You said Microsoft word recognizes a New paragrapgh if u Just press Enter, then i figured out my problem! THANK U!

sometimes when i just press enter, line break occurs, and so i need to press enter twice just to make a hideous gap...
why?

Thank you this was so helpful you saved my life. I had a 17,00 word dissertation with paragraphs all over the place. Now I know how to do a line break!
