Per Ardua Navegação

I'll try to get English subtitles up for this if/when I get time.

This video was shot a few months ago during the Per Ardua wilderness ministry training. Part of the course is compass navigation. In this case we were in some really dense jungle covering basic compass and keeping to a straight course in bad bush.

I wasn't happy with the way this one ends abruptly. Once we got into the thick of it, it was impossible to teach, navigate, chop, etc. and make good video at the same time. Off trail jungle navigation is probably the most intense and exhausting part of the training.

@enjoythewildUSA "Per Ardua" is Latin for "Through Difficulty". The course is designed to teach leadership skills as well as wilderness survival. It also pushes them very naturally out of their comfort zone and is intended to show them they can endure hardship. I have found the camo helps them get into the right frame of mind.

@ez2curanut Portuguese and Spanish share about a 50% commonality in vocabulary but pronunciation is very different. Grammatical structure is very similar. Most people rank Spanish as the easier to learn with Portuguese being about as difficult as French.
