I love when you can see the history of the horn with its failing paint.

@GP30RDMT If you ever want to repaint this horn, do me a favor. I'll send you a OC P5 you can repaint, and I'll keep this one in all of it's Granger Glory...haha!

@gray19801 I hear ya on that as I am debating if I really want to paint my Leslie off and on!!! She has quit a CSX SBD heritage coming through in spots. Black what appears to be light gray yellow bell throats coming through the blue.

@gray19801 When I was sent the pics of the horn, i immediately thought "re-paint canidate"...but when you're up close looking at the horn, you can really see the history, far better than in the video. So I'll probably leave this one as-is.

@GP30RDMT Looking at the pictures it really does show its heritage and think I would be hard pressed to paint it but that is me!!

@gray19801 It was from an engine sold to the C&NW, post RI-bankruptcy. IIRC, it was a Geep. But it is a former RI horn. There is "Bankruptcy Blue" under the green, a shade of red, and then another shade of darker, purple-ish red that you can see on the #2 bell in the picture quite well.

Could have been on the rock but with the green paint makes me want to go for was on a loco sold after bankruptcy. None the less a nice OC
I had no idea that you could get a stove-top attachment like that!

@conrailwitty Yeah, it's tied into the timer, which can be problematic if you're not into loud noises when the rice is done!

You sure it's RI? That green looks more SOU to me... great horn regardless.
