Cutting session with Hanwei Tori elite and Shinto elite

Backyard cutting with a home made cutting stand (cost me 15$ for the wood and about 45 min of work). In this short clip, I used a custom Hanwei Shinto elite. I also used the amazing Hanwei Tori elite.

Cutting targets : double and triple rolled beach mats tatami and plastic bottles filled with water.
Music : Lonely Sheperd by Gheorghe Zamfir.

1:28 the bottom half of the bottle falls and lands upright. EPIC.

everyone says youre bad but nobody tells you what's wrong. you're too stiff in your shoulders, you're turning your wrists, and you're not keeping your weight centered. the blade can do the cutting without any help from your arms so dont worry about those, the path of the cut and your hips should move as one. that being said, it only need be a small motion, so just relax and guide the blade straight, and you'll cut anything you need to =]
