Chef Tony Grills 2 different pizzas on his Primo XL-Oval and shows you how every step of the way. The first pizza grilled, is loaded with veggies for you vegetable lovers out there and the second one is for all of our followers who are meat lovers.
Ingredients Used:
3/4-1cup - Pizza Sauce
1/2cup - Parmesan cheese (fresh grated)
3-5cups - Mozzarella cheese
1each - Roasted Eggplant
1each - Roasted Red Bell Pepper
1each - Roasted Yellow Bell Pepper
1each - Roasted Yellow Squash
1each - Roasted Zucchini
1/4cup - Sun Dried Tomatoes
5-10each - Roasted Garlic Cloves
1/4each - Roasted Purple Onion
MEAT PIZZA:
1each - Roasted Red Bell Pepper
1each - Roasted Yellow Bell Pepper
4-6oz - Prosciutto (thin sliced)
1/4cup - Italian Sausage (crumbles)
15-20each - Pepperoni
3slices - Low Sodium Bacon (cooked/chopped)

  • will the pizza still taste like it was grilled if you do it on a stone? or will it even taste different if you put it directly on the grill?

  • @kamikaze777insomniac It will absolutely still have that smokey flavor. We have other recipes if you want to put the dough directly on the grates.  It just cooks much faster. Thanks for watching!

  • Tony, shouldn't you be cooking on the other side of the stone, not the glazed side?

  • @bohunk49 Not on Primo stone. It is made this way so that it is non-stick. The pizza came out with the perfect crust.

  • why does the crust look a bit over cooked from the edge?

  • @cardude1992 It's possible that the cheese got on the pizza stone. That will blacken very quickly. It's also possible that it got over cooked! Cooking and shooting video can be difficult especially when you are grilling this hot! Thanks for the post!

  • yum...making Pizza right now...been doing it for about 30 years though, with basically the same recipes as Chef Tony...guess our grandparents were from the same town! lol
