Harvest Harvest Yukai (Haruhi Suzumiya × Harvest Moon: Magical Melody)

This is a parody of the ending animation of the (best) anime (ever), The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. ^^ Ring in the New Year celebrating how nothing has changed - I still love Harvest Moon, still love anime, and still have no better programs than Paint and Windows Movie Maker with which to compose my tributes. xP Despite that, I hope it turned out satisfactory. If nothing else, behold the awesome accuracy in character hair colors! Also, I'm wondering if the half animated / half live-action thing worked out well, heh-heh... Sort of a copout of drawing the whole dance, and sort of a fun excuse to randomly cosplay. I know this is my second Melancholy-related HM endeavor (what can I say? Haruhiism forever!), so I'm sorry if you haven't seen the show and don't understand the parody... but hey, if you haven't seen it, go watch it now, seriously!!!

**Additional character appearances I forgot to credit: Meryl played the part of Kyon's sister, and the Harvest Sprites Arthur, Billy, and Carlos WERE drawn in there once! Just have to make sure to mention all the additional cast! xP

***Heh, I often feel the need to put an outtake of some sort in my tribute projects... I always tend to do or say something amusingly weird whenever the camera is rolling and I'm all hyped up from the excitement of making a video.

Sorry; I've never bought a costume online before, and I've never even seen any HM costumes available online. My mom made this one for me. ^^;; It was very simple, though: the shirt and shorts were store-bought, and the vest and bandana were easily made from cheap fabric bought at Wal-Mart. I think a lot of HM cosplays have the potential to be easy like that. I suggest searching at thrift shops for material you can use; that's what I do. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful!
