Our 'heroes' get blown up on Planet Magrathea and find themselves at 'Milliways' - The Restaurant at the End of the Universe. They then meet the main course a cow/pig thing that has been bred to want to be eaten and is quite capable of saying so.

  • Actually, most of the TV cast was the same as the original Radio show. (Except for Ford and Trillian, that is.) And who wouldn't prefer this Zaphod over the movie's disaster?

  • I liked that the original TV show followed the radio series closely, but they did an awful job of casting, I think.

Still, I'd rather watch this than Family Guy any time.

  • The new movie is SHIT. And is not Hitchhiker's Guide to The Galaxy

I'm not racist, but why the fuck was Ford Prefect black.

And why the hell was Marvin stupid looking and not depressed.

And why did they cut out nearly every single good part of the movie

At least the Vogon's were almost right.....

  • @EEKemple whys it always gotta be family guy? fuck you.

  • @Polaris912b i thought the movie was well done, considering alll the challenges they faced. zaphod was a good interpretation but because of all the history surrounding the stories it was always going to be a thankless task, with people already being set in their ideas about the characters. i wish adams had bitten the bullett and made the film in the 90s. the director who would have done it went on instead to make MenInBlack.

  • To see the meat they meet, jump to 6:22!

  • @er10b It's Davison's voice too.

  • @Migglyman the Dish of the Day sounds nothing like him though. He must have lip synced and someone else dubbed in the voice.

  • Of course this was better...but the other had zooey deschanel....mmmm....zooooooey...i'd watch anything with zooey...

  • @toenails54321

No, West Country. As in Hot Fuzz or the Wurzels.

  • (commented on towel day!)

Ha! Hotblack is spending a year dead for tax reasons!
