No, the shark in Jaws was not computerized, it was actually made with a thin metal frame covered in this water-proof material. It had a remote that controlled it and the shark was named Bruce after Spielbergs lawyer. Another fun fact is that the dogs in the movie (Jaws) were actually Spielbergs.

Movie & novel were completely different. In the novel Ellen is the biggest pig in the world.
