The opening titles to Brookside from 1988, shown in 1997 on Living.

NOTE: I do NOT have this episode of Brookside, just the titles.

  • Pause this at 0:16 - that is the only image I can find on the internet of St. John's Tower before it became Radio City Tower.

If anyone has any pictures of it, or knows where I can find some, please message me!

  • why show an episode that was first showen 9 years earlier stupid

  • Has anyone got full episode to this.

  • Haha. If you aren't already an avid listener of Gideon Coe, you really should be. That sort of anorak behaviour is much welcomed

  • @Regalseven I think the thing that killed it's popularity was that incest storyline.

  • Arched net curtain are horrible. Thank God for venitian blinds!

  • lol classic comment

  • This was still a great show at this point in time and continued to be well into the 90s where some of its most thrilling and emotive story lines were scripted but sadly by the late 90s ithe soap started to loose its way and didnt know what it wanted to be. The visuals here are interesting as you can clearly see Sheila Grant's famous 'arched' netcurtains on the bedroom windows at house 5 Rumour has it that they are still stuck there and conservation measures should be introduced to preserve these
