One year ago today (Christmas Day 2009), we were introduced to some amazing people when our son Evan was born 17 weeks early! We can't believe Evan is a year old today, he has come so far after being born at 23 weeks and 3 days. Evan was born weighing 1 pound and 5 1/2 ounces and was 11 1/2 inches long. He spent a total of 118 days at Spectrum Health's NICU in Grand Rapids, MI. He means the world to Ryan and me and we can't imagine life before he came along. His story brings out the true meaning of Christmas! Here is a video about our Christmas Angels!
