Sony Ericsson W595 Repair

My sister Sony Ericsson W595 earpiece no sound. First I suspect the speaker part. When checked deep inside two line of the main ribbon from back to front panel was teared. Then I replace the ribbon. Fortunately the price is cheap. Finally, it fixed. The phone show good in LCD, no display problem that was tricky. But going dept into ribbon there only two line affected which is might be the earpiece connection.

Can i ask you something ? At my mobile there is also a ribbon connecting the speaker with the upper keyboard.A very thin one.I am not seeing this at your video.And another thing,Mine ribbon is teared on the exact opposite side .Does it matter?I mean does affect the same functions?

@believas21 thanks. Yes there was a thin ribbon about 2line lay next to the keyboard. Yup this is goes to speaker. Check if it physical defect. You need to change if yes. But also check the main ribbon. If it got teared and some line there cutted, it obviously need to change like mine. I just not video all of it I am amatur :).
