  • For the others who earnestly seek to know the meaning of this great Upanishadic shloka (II part of Vedas, wih searching enquiry into universe, life):Let the Supersoul protect us both(teacher +taught), feed us with grub and food for thought, provide us the virility necessary for scaling the very heights of profound knowledge (so it is wisely used for all ecology to grow in harmony), shun jealousies, passions for pursuit of our studies. May our deed, word and thought be illuminated by peace.SHANTI.

  • @nosexinindia Some IITs have an integrated MSc. But all have MSc and PhD.

  • @nibus9 People in India consider study as spiritual act for some mythological reason and that's why some IIT's logo are inspired by Hindu mythology. as for your ques you can read the meaning of "Gayatri Mantra" on wiki and it hardly has anything to do with Physics.

  • I love the intro. It brings ancient and modern together. V. Balakrishnan is a rare kind of brilliant man.
