OxBridge Academic Programs drama students attending 2011 Oxford Tradition classes create improvisations based on a scene from MacBeth. Teams of two study the scene as written by Shakespeare reaching a common take on what is happening. In "tag-team" style the players must be ready to jump into the scene where ever the previous team leaves off.
In this scene: After a prophecy MacBeth and wife conspire to kill their King Duncan to take over the throne. When Duncan decides to stay at the Macbeths' castle, Lady Macbeth hatches a plan to murder him. Although Macbeth raises concerns about the regicide, Lady Macbeth eventually persuades him, by challenging his manhood, On the night of the king's visit, Macbeth hallucinates before entering Duncan's quarters, claiming to see a bloody dagger.
Our scene begins after Macbeth reunites with his wife, having "done the deed." He is so freaked out that Lady Macbeth has to take charge. She frames Duncan's sleeping servants for the murder by placing bloody daggers on them.
