@HaNsWiDjAjA I agree

Ehh, most big cats tends to kill prey animals that are bigger themselves by suffocation, while those of sufficiently small size are simply bitten through the brain or spine. The cheetah is rather unique in its inability to do this, so it always strange its prey. Suffocation actually result in slow death, while caving in a creatures brain or severing its spinal cord is a rather instantaneous death. So actually, other big cats can be more "humane" to their prey than the cheetah.

@AlkamistSSi obviously you stopped watching the vid at approx 2:25......so much for "courteous".....

just another day in the bronx

Cheetahs are more so courteous in regards their victim, in letting them fully suffocate before feeding. An animal has got to eat, so I find this method of killing/feeding more "humane" than other big cats.

How exactly do you imagine that an adult 36 to 65 kg cheetah will take down an adult 225-420 kg zebra? Why do you think they go for the small ones?
-
Did anybody else notice that there was about 25 zebras that he could of eatin?
a calf would provide more than enough food for 2 cheetahs ....
