I'm embarrassed to admit that I have not heard this Requiem by Jenkins before and what a wonderful performance for my first hearing! Thank you for posting it. Is there any chance that there is a CD of this performance available?
Hello Woodney- This was played at our mates funeral 29/04/08. What a character. Dave Marra late of Middleton Manchester. The funniest guy that ever lived . He creased everybody up- a cross between delboy/trigg but with his own style. The world has lost a true character- never met or will meet his like again. Makes me cry every time I hear this -like you say a beautiful song- when I want to think of Dave I will play it to make me laugh and cry. Write a book on him one day, any profit to charity
This is a beautiful version of this piece - some others are far too slow. Quite celestial - well done!

Beautiful music..reminds me of a "Man for all Seasons" whilst smoking a cigar and partaking in a large brandy, being surrounded by loose girlies.
