In this episode Flack tackles modern liturgy. What's the deal with crossing and genuflecting? Should Protestants be afraid of repeating the errors of the Catholic Church? We also discuss the inseparable link between worship and community, which should inform our liturgy in profound ways.

Just remember that the Greek New Testament canon was developed alongside and by the fathers of the Traditional (Orthodox) Church. Without Tradition, it is up for grabs in regards to interpretation. And we all know where that goes... in infinite directions.

but jesus never created the dogma, traditions, rituals, terms, names, or anything else used by the catholic church that makes them a catholic church. and the catholic church was also created by men.

Well, I can read a history book and I can see that the Catholic Church can trace its episcopal lineage directly back to the Apostles, while every single Protestant sect has been created by men.

then how do you know that the catholic church is the church he was talking about?

Matthew 16:18: "And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." Christ never used the word Catholic, but so what? He never used the word Bible, or Christian, or any number of other words that are perfectly legitimate.

"The Catholic Church is the Church Christ established." - i love that argument, it doesn't make any sense. where did christ establish any church? when did christ use the word catholic?

Leave it up to heretics to explain the Mass.
