My son's Christmas present. A 1968 Gravely Com 10, fully restored with a Kohler K-341. Ported, valves relieved and 3 angle seat cut, .020 bore, .040 cut from head, reworked carb and custom exhaust. The crank was also detailed and shotpeened. I installed an 8 gear differential, 30 amp alternator, all stainless and grade 8 bolts, and headlights. I grew up with these tractors and their tough as nails. I'm glad to pass on a truely American built, legendary machine to my son.

  • Great job restoring that Gravely! Did you use Rustoleum chrome paint on the handlebars?

  • @kencritlindemann Thank you. The bars and all the other siver was done with Dupli-Color and then clearcoated.

  • Where did you get the right paint color?

  • @DamnStraightM35A2 Napa mixed me a quart. You have the choice of old Gravely red, Gravely red or new Gravely red. I chose the new Gravely red, which has a Chevy orange look about it.

  • Nice job. Looks great!! I just got a com.10a that is pretty clean. I plan on painting it up but ill never get it that nice.

  • Aweome machine! I like the paint!

  • NICE! I want to build the same. I have a yellow Commercial 12 with a blown motor, the ID tag is missing so I dont know what crank Spec or Part number I must find on a K341. the blown motor has a 3 step PTO shaft to accommodate the double gear. Do you know what # i am looking for if I find a K301, K321,K341, K361? Thanks, Max

  • Looks great and sounds even better!

  • That is one sweet, sweet Gravely tractor! I have one sitting in my yard that is a riding tractor but it has one of these under the sheet metal. I plan on converting it back to the walk-behind setup. I love the Gravelys. Your son is a lucky dude! Great work, my friend. It looks beautiful.
