I was at this game, in the end zone right behind the Jets and it was the loudest noise I ever heard. And later when Reggie Brown broke his neck in the same game, the quietest ever. Barry went over 2000 for the season in this game too.

When the right and fired up type of Detroit crowd shows up, especially at the Silverdome or the Palace, THIS HAPPENS! We are a weapon, just ask the 2004 Lakers! Silverdome crowds were smart, loud, and knew when to bust the roof off. But folks, the 2000's Piston games at the Palace, were LOUDER THAN THIS. I left out of playoff game with a sound concussion. But we don't have those type of crowds or fans anymore, we have CORPORATE CUSTOMERS NOW, and our teams still suck!

one time in 84....we won a nba title in 04 no problems, been to 2 world series 2006, 2012 no problems...all the red wing titles no problems...

It happened one time in 1984. We've had several since with incidents. Vancouver...Denver has assumed that role.
