How to track Carpenter Ant Trails and see where they nest.

Tracking carpenter ants can help identify nest locations so you can directly treat them for fast control. Carpenter ants will commonly have several nest sites and if you watch them foraging you can almost always find key locations that will need treatment. Remember, an active ant is either walking away or back to a nest so there is at least a 50% chance watching it will provide valuable information.

wow, a true ant detective right there!, i just woke up to a bunch of tiny winged ants all around my sink, most of them were swarming an old samp wash cloth that was left there for a few days. I freaked! spent at least 30 minutes standing there killing them all, i'm the kind of person that won't stop til i can't see anymore moving. I hate it, it grosses me out. Extermination is not in my price range unfortunately so i need a good product i can pick up at wal-mart or any store like that. Any sug?

Hopefully they haven't already setup shop on the inside. Once we found the nest on the outside and cut that off, we discovered that they had a nest in the house also. Thsat is when it got real interesting.
