I understand what you want, but I'm not sure the approach of calling people liars is the most constructive way to get your point across. To quote a smarter person then me... "You can tell a lot about a persons character by how they treat people they do not have to treat well."

These politicians treat you poorly, that's telling of their character, but treating them better than they treat you is what makes you the better person. It gives your argument more weight.

You should be standing up for single payer. You are just falling for the usual method of offering us a little of what we need and calling it good. What if you get too sick to pay even a few thousand dollars for health care. Your whole family will be back into the same boat.

I didn't say that using the word liar was incorrect. In fact, given that he's a politician I assume it's an understatement. Being the bigger man means treating them with respect even when they don't deserve it. Making those statements whether true or not means bringing yourself down to their level.

You're fighting for a better cause, a better way of living, and that's admirable. I respect that greatly. But in the spirit of "Treat others the way you want to be treated", you fall short somewhat.

I have always had great health care, will probably always be able to afford great health care....but HATE our current system. It is ridiculously unfair and the vast majority of insurers routinely dick over people in order to make a profit. I really, really, really hope America won't be duped yet another time, and that serious healthcare reform becomes a reality. Obama has my complete support on this!
