@blown2oblivion we took the gondolas too, because it was March and I guess the trainis closed till summer. We also wend sledging down the mountain, hbu?
I went to Lucerne this past summer with EF Tours and it was absolutely amazing. I also saw the Lion monument, walked on the covered bridge, took a boat ride on Lake Lucerne, and went up to the peak of Mt. Pilatus. It was absolutely amazing!
Wow another first comment! THis was our second stop on the Spring '06 trip. We got to see the Lion monument, went to the chocolate chop(best chocolate EVER!!) and of course went to the top of Mt.Pilatus. There was so much snow up there and then it began to snow some more. We didn't take the cog train, we took the gondolas up, talk about a long drop. This was one of my favorite places on the trip because there was fresh air, nice people, great food, and astounding landmarks.
I would like to know the name of the hotel you stayed at in Switzerland! PLEASE
