Muslims Debate Gay Marriage

An intense debate erupts between me and a Muslim blogger on the issue of gay marriage.

Allah forbids homosexuality and therefore, my standpoint was that gay marriage is forbidden as well.

So, as Muslims we cannot support this position, even though it may be the unpopular one.

The other Muslim brother did not agree.

@ThezFad Islam failed my standards, not because of you, but because I have never met a single muslim who could show or tell me why faith in general, let alone the muslum faith, was true without being dishonest. And the second a man starts to lie for his faith, I can't trust anything he says. And thats even more the case when he threatens my life.

@ThezFad Please Please stop defecting. I don't care if your a good Muslim, i care that your a good PERSON, and your not showing your self a respectable and honest human being. Your showing you self as a typical violent and hostile man driven by Islam. You don't need to be that way, you could sit down and start asking your self what makes sense based on the things you DO know as a fellow human being. I'm nice to people because I like people, not because I fear retribution from a god.

I understand I may have completely turned you off and for this I apologize. If you want to seriously take all viewpoints into account, please open the link in your inbox. I am sure you will be able to relate to what is said in that video much more than what I say. It is an American, Muslim convert, explaining why he chose the path he did. It is long, but worth it.

There is no report out there that comes even close to 6 million people. Not even the reports done by those who were critical of the war? Why are you so intellectuality dishonest about your religion?
