  • I can't drive, either:(

I'm hoping that once I go a year without seizures I can get a moped. What I really want, though, is to go swimming in the lake next summer. I really miss that.

  • @keliata It has been almost 8 months now seizure free for me. So I am driving now. I swam at my parents house plus a local pool while supervised. I just put on a life vest while swimming deep underwater. It is just the nature of the beast. I always ask myself, do I want to be here for my 2 kids later on in life under the circumstances? Yes. Good luck with your 1 year of no seizures.

  • Knock on wood, no gran mals since July 29, 2011, I take Keppra, Lamictal, Librium (like Klonopin). No mood problems with Keppra but major weight loss that has my doctor's alarmed. Me, too. Not much in the way of side effects with Lamictal.

Happy birthday to your son! Stay well! You look great

  • @keliata Thank you!!

  • Thank you. I have been seizure free for 7 months and 16 days now!

  • I am also 6 months free of seizures. Wanting to get a full time job somewhere and get benefits for me and my 2 kids is my next goal. One thing at a time I guess.
