In this Wordpress tutorial we will see how easy and fun it is to create & edit Wordpress pages and posts with the "Visual Editor". If you are used to word processors like Microsoft Office Word or Apples I-Works then you'll find the Wordpress "visual editor" very similar. However because of the visual editors design & functionality it can be a little confusing for newbie's at first glance.

The editor provides a semi-WYSIWYG (What You See is What You Get) content editor that allows you to easily make, change, and design your blog content. Find out more about a Wordpress page & post here if you are a newbie to Wordpress blogging. If your not new let's take a closer look at the Wordpress "Visual Editor".

The "visual" editor is the default editing mode of WordPress.com. Make sure you are not using the HTML editor, unless you know how to edit in HTML. The HTML editor looks like this:

If the Visual editor does not appear to be enabled, you can select the "Visual" tab in the top right corner of the editor area:

For an understanding of each visual editor button and function you can get a simple overview at the Word Press visual editor help site.

The Word Press Visual Editor also has an upload/insert editor for media. Media like pictures, audio, video, and documents. Even though there are a few limitations like picture size limitations and file size restrictions it's very simple to use. Visit the Wordpress help site to learn more about media editor icons.

  • I love the way you go slow and step-by-step, without assuming we "already know" the basics. There are already so many "tutorials" around which "assume" that we know the "basics". No need to compete with them; "truly" step-by-step is your niche.

I see you're active with your faith. I'm not very religious (pray only once in a while) but from the bottom of my heart, GOD BLESS YOU, DUDE! God bless you with financial rewards, you deserve it.

*PS.How to do "sponsor box" etc. on right? cheerz!
