Chechnya: Separatism or Jhad? examines the nature of Islam in the ongoing Chechen conflict. In early 1995, numerous foreign mujahadeen arrived in Chechnya to assist the separatist movement, and there have been foreigners there ever since. Their contribution on the battlefield and their influence in the political situation within the Chechen resistance is not clear and has often been politically manipulated by all sides in the conflict.

More disturbing, four large-scale hostage taking raids into Russia in the past decade, Budyonnovsk (1995), Kizlar (1996), Moscow Theater

(2002) and Beslan (2004), now referred to as "spectaculars," seem to run parallel to the radicalization of the conflict and serve as a chronological timeline for the story and illustrate an evolution and escalation of militant Chechen tactics.

Separatism program was proven throughout history do not mentioned a lot "for Allah's cause"..example PLO in palestine is Separatism though sometimes they use Allah's name. But the Chenchen is truly jihad, u can see how they pray, though they are not Arab, how they dressed. We who know what is said in Al Quran and Hadits...knows our brothers.

i watched all those videos aswell its not just chechens who do it, iraqis and afghanis also do tht. in sauidi arabia and yemen its an official form of execution, muhamad (their prophet) used to behead ppl himself. islam is an evil religon i watched too many beheadings, the taliban for example get 12 year old boys to do it. the chechens laugh wen they cut the head of someone thts less than half their age. also the way they cut the throat its pretty dam discusting.
