You shouldn't feed them. They adapt to it quickly and then they can't hunt for themselves and then they start dropping out of school and getting each other pregnant at a very young age.

@OZOBIEUSA1 The reason for you not seeing gators right now is due to the females are guarding their nests right now. In just a few weeks you might see them after their eggs hatch but I doubt it, they'll stay stay with their hatchlings for about a month or two, maybe longer. But they'll be back out soon enough, IF the pythons haven't swallowed most of the babies from years ago, decimating the gator population, just as most state biologists & florida swampers knew they would.

I WAS IN THE EVERGLADES A FEW WEEKS BACK, AND DID NOT SEE ONE GATOR! LAST TIME I WAS IN FLORIDA (1989) I REMEMBER SEEING GATORS FROM THE CAR. JUST SWIMMING AROUND..
