SEGA-CD's poor performance isn't allow
full animation.

Refined production,musics,pictures and passions expresses the wonderful scene.

Well, for the Saturn version of Silver Star Story Complete, there is a hardware requirement: the optional MPEG VCD expansion module.

The regular (non-complete) version of that game used a software Cinepak codec while the Sony PlayStation used MJPEG.

This is the Sega CD version, not the Saturn version. The Saturn version is almost identical to the PS1 version. Except the Saturn version of SSSC does have better quality FMVs.

I like Zophars evil laugh in both Languages, but the English one sounds more crazy (MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH, UAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!) I like this scene.

I happen to like the SEGA CD version a lot better than the Saturn and the Playstation versions of this game.

The complete version of both Lunars are indeed better, but you gotta admit the Sega Saturn version is impressive considering what they had to work with.
