This is a video presentation that I made of the Navajo Long Walk after my trip home to the Great Navajo Nation. I took the trek of my ancestors from Canyon de Chelly to Fort Sumner, New Mexico. It was a very powerful experience for me! I hope you enjoy watching!

I once lived in Flagstaff (mid to late 70's) learned much from The People. I was very lucky to be accepted by many families and was allowed to learn much. When I had to move away I was very sad and still feel this sadness today. To this day I still go out at shearing time here in Texas, and gather wool, spin it, and weave it the "Navajo way". If I could I would move back to Arizona and live as close as possible to The People.

we need to keep our tradition strong..we've let technology take over... its up to the young navajos, the next generation to keep our culture going. i am a navajo.
